the afterlife

When believers describe what heaven is like, is it really anyplace you’d like to be?

Full of repentant child molesters and murders and uptight fundies – although I do like harp music – in small doses.

Seriously, live your life for yourself, be the best person you can be and do your best to not cause harm.

The campfire rule:  leave others in as good or better condition than you found them.

Don’t buy into any death cults who would put restrictions on your thoughts and behavior to gain an afterlife reward or avoid afterlife punishment.

There’s no reason to assume there’s an afterlife and if there was an afterlife, then it’s part of the natural universe and won’t be conditional on your compliance with a contradictory and gaping list of behaviour rules and what you did with your genitals.
