All this time, I thought a cairn was just a pile of rocks, but it turns out that it’s a conical pile of rocks to mark graves.
So, I have to stop calling my rock garden, a rock cairn, which is too bad because I think it sounds cooler – but, as it’s a long line shape and not a covering for any dead bodies……
It’s developed quite a bit since we first started dumping the rocks that we were sifting from the dirt for the 2 tier box.
