I totally agree.

I have not had TV in the house for over 5 years and I have to say, it’s really jarring to hear what passes for children’s televion programming and network programming in generally.

Especially when I compare it to what 9 year olds like to watch on youtube.

Source of Inspiration

Why do we think of groups
with technology as “civilized”
and disdain those who live close
to nature, having no electricity,
nor the desire for a TV? We
can learn much from ancient wisdom
that needs not new batteries or a
satellite dish, if only we are not
too arrogant to sit at the feet of
those honored ones with wrinkles
mapping the wisdom of ages.
