Climate refugees….. get used to start hearing that phrase if it doesn’t already strike a chill in your heart like it does mine.

    in this situations…my son is stationed in Mississippi, it has been a long two days..and will be longer….

    • no. there’s nothing to like in the situation

      except for seeing how much people really can pull together and work to help people and their pets get to safety

      reducing the trauma and distress of the situation.

      but for me, I am mostly saddened by seeing the news and people saying how they didn’t anticipate, when this was entirely predictable and should have had more mitigation and preparedness in place post katrina.

      science literacy, at least the insurance industry acts according ling, so even if you don’t understand the science of climate change

      if you look at the money, you’ll see that people who it’s gonna cost are paying attention.
